Drones Are In The Air
Raymond Engineering now has a Phantom 4 Pro and Inspire 1 equipped with high-quality cameras able to take full HD 1080p images. Each drone can fly up to 400 feet above a facility site, and can access areas that would be virtually impossible to reach by foot. The Inspire 1 comes with an infrared camera, which can be used to complete infrared scans in half the time it would normally take.
Dry Roof Leak Detector
We currently added new equipment that enables inspectors to quickly and effectively test non-conductive roof finishes (such as bitumen, liquid-applied, single-ply and asphalt) for pinholes, porosity and other defects.
The North Carolina State Legislative Building has been home to the state legislature since 1963. In 2015 Raymond Engineering was retained as the prime engineer for restoration of the building’s curtain wall system, masonry repairs, reconstruction of the promenade and planters and replacement of the five copper pyramid roofs and the ceiling restoration in the house chambers.
Raymond Engineering is recognized as one of the experts in identifying system failures from catastrophic events. Whether the failure was due to weather, structural deficiencies, or other performance related issues; we have the understanding and experience to analyze failed systems. Our team of Registered Engineers, Architects and Certified Inspectors will use the latest technology to identify any damages and make recommendations for stabilization, mitigation, repair and reconstruction as needed.
