The claim consisted of roof-related damage to 30+ buildings that had experienced a wide variety of damage due to Hurricane Frances in 2004.  Raymond Engineering was retained to conduct an inspection of each roof area where damage was claimed and to determine if any damage detected was due to the hurricane event, or was the result of some other issue.

From the period 2006 – September 2008, our role was to assist FORCON, FCCU (the insurance carrier), and the attorney in the development of the case as it pertained to the roofing issues, perform an inspection of the existing conditions, review reports prepared by other consultants during the course of the litigation, attend selected depositions of key witnesses, be deposed, and testify at trial.  The size of the claim was nearly $4 million dollars.
