Mauldin High School

Mauldin, South Carolina

The School District of Greenville County contracted Raymond Engineering to develop performance-based specifications and limited detail plans. The scope of work included reviewing construction drawings, field work, assessments, preparing of the roof plan, detail drawings, and front end documents. Construction management consisted of conducting a pre-bid conference, preparing construction administration documents, conducting a pre-work conference and  weekly progress meetings, evaluation/water testing using a spray rack, providing quality assurance inspections which also included a final punch list, and daily observation reporting.

Additionally, Raymond Engineering provided engineering and evaluation of the six separate curtain wall systems at Mauldin High School. Also, three stairwells with glazing from floor to ceiling and two recessed walls, one walkway were included in the design.

The project is ongoing. The project design has been completed, as well as the bidding, pre-construction conference; construction administration and inspection are planned and ongoing.
